EURO 2024 will be the 17th edition of the UEFA European Football Championship and is set to take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will be hosted by Germany and 10 cities have been selected as host cities for the event.
The tournament will feature 24 teams that qualify through the qualifying process. The matches will be played in a variety of stadiums in Germany, including the Allianz Arena in Munich, Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, and Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
When is EURO 2024?
The 51-matches European Football Championship will be kicked off on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Euro 2024 will last for one month and the final set to be held on July 14, 2024, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

EURO 2024 Stadiums
Ten stadiums select from ten host cities, nine of them used in the 2006 World Cup plus Merkur Spiel-Arena.
Bayern Munich’s home ground Allianz Arena will host the opening match but during the tournament, the stadium name will be Munich Football Arena due to UEFA venue name rules.

The final will be held in Berlin at the Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium), which is one of the most iconic stadiums in Europe. Italy defeated France in the 2006 World Cup at Olympiastadion.

EURO 2024 Qualification Process
23-team will join host Germanys in the 24-team EURO 2024 tournament. 20 teams will qualify from the qualification group stage. 53 European national football teams are split into 10 groups. Every group winner and runner-up team will earn their place in Germany.

Three teams will reach EURO 2024 via the playoffs based on their performances in the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League. There will then be six semi-finals on Thursday, March 21 before three finals on Tuesday, March 26.

The group winners of Leagues A, B and C all get an automatic play-off spot, but if they have already qualified, they will be replaced by the next best-ranked team in their league.

- League B: Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Scotland
- League C: Georgia, Greece, Türkiye, Kazakhstan
