Gianluigi Donnarumma moves to Paris Saint-Germain from AC Milan

The contract of Gianluigi Donnarumma was over and he was willing to leave AC Milan as a free agent. AC Milan fans are not particularly happy about his leaving the club because has been with it at the very beginning of his career since 2015.

As Paris Saint-Germain was interested in signing Gianluigi Donnarumma and the process was going on for a couple of days, and now the contract is set to be completed and the verbal agreement has been officially done. The contract will be until June 2026. The total salary in 5 years around €60m, €12m/net per season [add ons included].

 

PSG are working for Gianluigi Donnarumma medicals in Italy NT camp. Keylor Navas is also staying and no loan chance as of today.

Juventus are out of the race in getting Gianluigi Donnarumma. FC Barcelona was also Interested but no official bid from Barça.

Gianluigi Donnarumma asked for No. 99 shirt at PSG but he will not be able to wear his preferred shirt. French football regulations say that players have to wear numbers between 1 and 30. Goalkeepers can only wear numbers 1, 16, and 30.

Only Jan Oblak (79%) and Keylor Navas (75%) had a higher save percentage than Gianluigi Donnarumma (73%) in the Top-5 European Leagues since 2015/16.
