The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the first time that World Cup has been held in the Middle East after the Qataris won the right to host it in December 2010.
Also, this is the first time the FIFA World Cup moved from its traditional timing of June and July to November and December to allow it to be played when temperatures are considerably cooler in Qatar.
And its became a problem for club football calendar especially for European leagues because the summer is their offseason and leagues is in full swing during November-December

Premier League 2022-23 schedule
The 2022-23 season will begin on August 6, a week earlier and it will finish May 28, 2023, a week later than the 2021-22 Season.
World Cup break will start from November 14 and it will resume on December 26, 8 days after World Cup.

La Liga 2022-23 schedule
Spanish La Liga 2022-23 season starts from August 12 on the same weekend as they did for the 2021-22 season and the world cup break start from November 14.
This time no games during Christmas as the league resume on December 29. La Liga 2022-23 finished date is June 4 two weeks later than the 2021-22 campaign.

Bundesliga 2022-23 schedule
More than a two-month break for World Cup from domestic football for German Bundesliga. It’s a clear advantage of having 18 teams, and 34 rounds of games other than English Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.
So the German action will start on August 5 and run through until November 13. League will resume on January 20 after World Cup is finished.

Serie A 2022-23 schedule
Although Italy did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup after losing to North Macedonia in UEFA Qualifier Playoff Semi-Final, Serie A has a break for World Cup for international players in the league who will be heading to Qatar.
The season begins on the August 13-14 weekend before playing until November 13. League resume time is expected in early January 2023.

The 2022 World Cup will not affect MLS 2022 unlike the European leagues because the season will finish on November 5 with the MLS Cup Final, 16 days before the World Cup begins. The regular season ends on October 9.

UEFA Champions League 2022-23 schedule
Usually, UEFA Champions League group stage matches are played through until the middle of December. But for 2022-23 Champions League group stage games being finished a month earlier on the midweek of 1-2 November.
The competition will 4-15 February with the first of the knockout games.
