An agreement has been reached between Real Madrid and Monaco, so Aurelien Tchouameni is set to join the European champions.
Tchouameni had verbal agreement with Real on a five-year contract before the Champions League final in Paris. The French Midfielder would cost Los Blancos €80m fee plus add ons, total package will be worth €100m.

PSG left the negotiations last weekend after the player’s urge to join the most successful European club in history although the French club was ready to offer more than the Spanish club. And rumours suggest their offer is close to, or may even exceed the 100 million euros mark.
Liverpool was also interested in Tchouameni and had direct contacts with his agents. Also, Jurgen Klopp personally called him but Real Madrid was strong in the negotiations after the deal collapsed for Kylian Mbappé.

Clubs are finalising paperwork, medicals and other regulatory processes before signing and official confirmation.
The Frenchman, who was named Ligue 1 Player of the Year for 2020/21 and has made the Team of the Year in each of the last two seasons, is a world-class midfielder in the making.

Tchouaméni made his senior international debut under Didier Deschamps in September 2021 and amassed 10 caps over the course of the campaign.
The Frenchman came through the ranks at Bordeaux, making 37 first-team appearances before moving to Monaco in January of 2020.
Tchouameni has made 95 appearances for Monaco in his two and a half seasons in the principality.He was a vital part of the Monaco side that finished third in Ligue 1 Uber Eats this season.
The midfielder featured 35 times in the league, contributing three goals and two assists, and made a further 11 appearances in European competitions.
