THE SUMMER’S European Championship promises to be a festival full of football’s top stars. But not everybody can make it.. Football Rabbit looks at the Top 11 players, who missed out EURO 2020 while their team fight for the glory. here, Top 11 Players Missing EURO 2020.
#1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic
39-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sweden’s greatest player, has been ruled out of the Euro after being injured (knee) while playing for AC Milan.
#2. Mason Greenwood
Manchester United young gun has also been withdrawn from the provisional Euro 2020 squad of England in order to recover fully from an underlying injury.
#3. E. Camavinga
One of most priority target of Real Madrid is a french midfielder player who plays for Ligue 1 club Rennes. Unfortunately, he didn’t make the final squad due to huge amount of talents availability.
#4. Marco Reus
Captain of Borussia Dortmund has made himself unavailable for the upcoming Euro 2020 in Germany squad. The 31-year-old says he needs the summer to recover after a very exhausting season.
#5. Saul Niguez
Spanish Midfielder and Atletico Madrid’s player, has not been included in the Spain squad for Euro 2020. He had previous 19 international appearances and contributed greatly in Atletico Madrid’s La Liga wining.
#6. Serio Reguilon
The Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon was one of better players this year and will eventually miss because not being selected in the squad by coach Enrique.
#7. Sergio Ramos
Real Madrid and Spain national team skipper Sergio Ramos is the biggest omission from the Spain squad. Apparently, he missed out due to a lack of game time brought on by injuries.
#8. Virgil van Dijk
The Dutch defender and Liverpool sensation, has been out of action since October due to an injury and will be unavailable for Netherlands in the Euro 2020.
#9. D. Upamecano
Former Leipzig player recently brought by Bayern Munich, could not make it to the final France squad for Euro 2020. He has been exceptionally good throughout the season. Another young talent likely to miss out this tournament.
#10. Aaron Wan-Bissaka
One of the Manchester United’s top performers of the season, was not even selected for the provisional group by coach Southgate.
#11. A. Areola
Former PSG and Real Madrid goalkeeper who’s been playing for Fulham on loan from PSG, has shown great potential this season. He is not included in France squad for Euro 2020.
